Unisa Diploma in Animal Health
Course Description
The Unisa Diploma in animal health deals with everything that gets involved when an outbreak of various animal diseases in South Africa in the last few years is a serious threat to the growth of the agricultural sector and its reputation in export markets.
Outbreaks have fuelled demand for animal health experts who can help producers comply with laws on preventing and controlling animal disease, implement sound animal health strategies and access veterinary technical services when they need it. Like all Unisa’s animal health programmes, this diploma has the stamp of approval of the Veterinary Council.
